The past weeks recaps

!!!! Correction !!!

This week's game (10/26) will be at Washington High School and may be on the practice field or at Tak we are still trying to work that out.  This will be an at home game and it does begin at 3:30 p.m.

We won a hard fought game against the Irvington Vikings 14-7.  After leading 6-0 after the half the Vikings came out fighting.  They were winning 7-6 with 9:00 minutes left in the 4th quarter, but the Huskies came roaring back with a touchdown and a two point conversion to give the the Vikings the ball back with :20 seconds left on the game clock.  Three failed Hail Mary passes later and the game was over!  It was extremely exciting and the team really worked hard for that well deserved victory.

Congratulations to the team and the coaches, we are all proud of you.

One more correction, It was Ryan Walsh that got his "bell rung" by the cheap hit during the San Ramon Game.

On Thursday at 7:00 pm October 12 The game will be at Tak.  This time we are the home team and sit on the left side under the announcers booth.

We are going to provide a Pasta feed at 4:00 - 5:00 PM for the team.  Their schedule will be Homework from 2:30 to 4:00.  Pasta from 4:00 to 5:00.  Then they will get ready for the game.  If you can help[ with the pasta feed let us know by E-Mail or phone.

September 21rst we fought it out with San Ramon Valley High School Team and it was brutal.  Their #88 who placed a nasty hit against Ryan Walsh #33 was thrown out of the game and suspenpended for the following weeks game.  The whole team had to do eighty-eight up-downs for the personal foul against our team member.

September 28th we had the pasta feed at lunch on Thursday before the game and the team really enjoyed it.  We met Mission San Jose at Tak Stadium and the final score was 48-6 in favor of the Huskies.  We had Cheerleaders and it was fantastic.  The team got to run throught a banner that the cheerleaders made at half time and it really spurred them on.  Special thanks to Helen Paris, the Student Activities Coordinator, who set us up with tables, chairs and a private area for the pasta lunch.
